13th Annual Diamond Classic

Join us May 25 to 28 for the 13th Annual Diamond Classicin Purcellville, Virginia. This year’s tournament includes The New England Women’s Red Sox, Ontario Trailblazers, Toronto Fusion, Chicago Gems, East Coast Yankees, and local teams, the DC Thunder and the DC Force.

Games will be played at Fireman’s Field and Franklin’s Park. Fireman’s field has hosted the Babe Ruth World Series and several American Legion tournaments. Tournament schedule will be posted here shortly.

The EWBC is excited to bring this tournament to Loudoun County and to introduce players, family and friends to all Loudoun County has to offer. Located about 45 minutes outside the DC beltway, the area has so much to offer as you can see here, there are wineries, adventures and museums to be seen offering fun for all. In fact, the Smithsonian extension of the National Air & Space museum is a short drive from the stadium.

2018 American Legion Mid-Atlantic Regional Baseball Tournament

In conjunction with American Legion Post 34 of Leesburg, Virginia, the Town of Purcellville will be hosting the 2018 American Legion Mid-Atlantic Regional Baseball Tournament at Fireman's Field from Wednesday, August 8th through Sunday, August 12th, 2018.  Teams from New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, including a Host team from Loudoun, will be competing for the opportunity to play in the American Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina. A game schedule will be posted once the teams from each State have qualified.

Kid's Closet Connection is a twice yearly children's consignment sale that brings area moms together to sell their children's outgrown gently used clothing, baby furniture and equipment, toys, books etc. Consignors (moms, like you!) make 65-70% of the selling price and do not even have to work the sale. You just drop off your tagged items at one of our drop off days and times and we do the selling for you! It is that easy!

Fireman's Field 2018 Kickoff and Open House

The purpose of the Open House is to reveal renderings of improvements to the complex, new programming for the Middle and High School aged teenagers, as well as discuss new events and initiatives such as the walking history of the Bush Tabernacle, Fireman’s Field and baseball in Loudoun.

Planned to be in attendance are Purcellville Mayor Fraser, the Purcellville Town Council and staff, Tony Buffington, Board of Supervisor for the Blue Ridge District, Jill Turgeon Loudoun County School Board Representative for the Blue Ridge District, and the Purcellville Fire and Police Departments. During the Open House, the Loudoun Valley Cross Country team and coaches will be honored for winning the 2017 National and State Championship. 

Leadership from the new management team, including Shaun Alexander, former NFL MVP,
Purcellville resident, and leaders of the new management team as well as Chris Bourassa,
managing member of Play To Win, LLC and representatives from ECHO Works will also be in attendance.
